FAQs

Curious about MEDVA? These answers will help

WHAT SKILLS ARE EXPECTED FROM ME BEFORE I APPLY?

The most important one is to have amazing conversation skills. We work with clients who would want to communicate with fluent, confident and with minimal to no accent English speakers. Based from the data we have gathered, people with this quality gets the attention of clients very quickly and hire them almost immediately. Other skills could be trained by our Career managers but we are keen on attitude and professionalism towards work. If you think you're this person, you have a great future with us.

HOW DOES THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS WORK?

The recruitment process comes with 5 easy steps.

1. Submit a complete application requirements

2. Receive a call from our Recruitment Specialist.

3. Be scheduled for an evaluation from our career managers.

4A. Once accepted, receive a new contractor packet which contains instructions to be endorsed to clients.

4B. If you require training, you will be short-listed for our MEDVA training program, (free-of-charge) and will be contacted when there is already a schedule.

5. Upon completion of all requirements, you will be endorsed to Clients.

WHERE IS MEDVA REGISTERED?

Medva is a US- based company whose headquarters is located in Nevada. The operations are currently in the Metropolitan area of Los Angeles.

HOW LONG IS THE TRAINING ? IS IT A PAID TRAINING?

Should you require foundational training, it will last 2-3 weeks depending on your performance and compliance of all the requirements. The training itself is not "paid" like any other BPO companies, however once you secure a client, training with them is already going to be paid.

WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL BACKGROUND, BUT ZERO BPO EXPERIENCE?

We prioritize applicants who have BPO/ CPO experience in US clinics, US insurances, and had done particular tasks such as:

1. prior authorization

2. medication refill

3. credentialing,

4. medical billing

5. scribing and transcription.

We also give special attention to those who have experiences using different EMRs such as practice fusion, E-clinical works, Open Dental and other similar software.

If you have a medical degree but no CPO/ BPO Experience on US Healthcare accounts, you will most likely need to undergo training to be familiarized with the tasks done in a US clinic.

If you have CPO/ BPO experience on US Healthcare accounts, but have no Medical degree, you will be properly assessed by a career coach and if your experience matches the tasks to be done, you will be endorsed to a client immediately, otherwise would be recommended to undergo training.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING AND AFTER TRAINING?

While on training, you would be asked to comply all the requirements needed to be endorsed to a client. Once the requirements have been submitted, your profile will be circulated even while you are still on training until you can get a client. After training, if you aren't endorsed to a client yet, you would have to wait until we find a client for you. In the mean time you can access our training site and review the concepts and tasks done in the clinic. To make sure you have all the confidence you need to get the job done.

WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF YOUR TRAINEES GETTING HIRED?

We make sure to endorse all our trainees to every clients we come across. The chances of getting hired will depend entirely on the candidate's profile and interview skills. Our career managers will make sure to assist you in boosting your confidence for the interview and making sure your profiles are presentable to clients.

CAN I WORK WITH 2 CLIENTS?

Normally you will be working with one client, that is a 7-8 hour shift. The reason behind that is that all our clients are currently in PST time zone. However, should the demand in other time zones increase, you may get part-time clients from other states.

I AM CURRENTLY EMPLOYED, CAN I ATTEND THE TRAINING PROGRAM AND RESIGN AFTER I GET A CLIENT WITH YOU?

We highly suggest you train with us if there are no other commitments because as mentioned previously, you will be endorsed to clients upon completion of your requirements while on training. This means that even while on training we can pull you out once a client is already interested to work with you.
